This Wmoto scooter is 250cc and will launch in 2022

GEORGE TOWN: Mforce Bike Holdings has announced that it will be launching the next Wmoto Xtreme scooter in 2022.

According to the company, the Xtreme 250cc scooter follows up on the success of the Xtreme 150i and caters to those seeking more advanced and sophisticated specifications, technology and appearance.

Since its July 11 launch, the RM9,588 Xtreme 150i has sold well, Mforce Bike Holdings said in a statement without breaking out the numbers.

The Penang company makes and distributes motorcycles under homegrown brands Wmoto and SM Sport. It is also the Malaysian distributor for foreign brands namely Benelli, Keeway, SYM, Brixton and Niu motorcycles.

The Xtreme 250cc forms part of Mforce Bike Holdings' five-year product rollout.

The scooter is now undergoing endurance testing and is obtaining Vehicle Type Approval from the Road Transport Department.
