SHAH ALAM: A new Toyota showroom has opened in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur.
UMW Toyota Motor already has a 2S centre at a separate address, but it is being upgraded to cater for aftersales service.
The Toyota distributor spent RM1mil to develop the showroom. It will have the usual amenities such as display space for three cars, customer lounge and free WiFi.
“The growing number of Toyota vehicles means we have to expand facilities," said said UMW Toyota Motor president Ravindran Kurusamy.
"The existing 2S outlet requires additional capacity ... we are expanding the outlet to cater for aftersales. Meantime, we have opened the new showroom to cater to those who wish to view and purchase Toyota vehicles.”
The new showroom is located at Pusat Komercial Jalan Kuching, Jalan Kepayang. The 2S centre is at Kawasan Perusahaan Segambut.
Under Toyota's "Care that Amazes" aftersales programme, new cars come with a 5-year warranty and unlimited mileage subject. Warranty is transferable. Free road assist is also provided in the first year of the car.
