The contest with "Your Dream Car" theme is open to all children in Malaysian aged 15 years and below.
Categories are:
> Category 1: Under eight years-old
> Category 2: 8-11 years-old
> Category 3: 12-15 years-old
Artwork are to be submitted in A3 paper size done with pencils, colour pencils, crayons, water paint or other standard tools.
Digital artwork are also acceptable.
Prizes at the National Contest level are:
> Gold winner: 1 X Apple iPad
> Silver Winner: 1 X Apple Watch
> Bronze Winner: 1 X Electric Scooter
> Consolation Winners: 2 X Voucher RM20
Winners of the national contests will be entered as representatives of their own country into the “World Contest,” to be held in Japan.
For the World Contest, each category will come with one grand prize and two Special Awards.
Winners will also be invited with one parent/guardian to attend the prize giving ceremony in Tokyo, Japan in August.
Since 2004, the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has been conducted as part of Toyota’s social contribution initiatives.
In 2021, the contest drew more than 1.1 million entries from 75 countries and regions around the globe.
