UMW Toyota Motor exceeds 100K units sold for third straight year

SHAH ALAM: UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (UMWT) ended 2024 with over 12,800 units sold in December 2024.
This brought the total annual units sold to more than 102,300, marking 2024 as the third consecutive year for UMWT to surpass the 100,000 annual goal, a milestone which has never been achieved before by the company.
In a statement, UMWT said the continued popularity of models like the Hilux, Vios and Corolla Cross boosted December’s sales performance.
The strong year-end performance demonstrates Toyota’s continued appeal in the Malaysian automotive market.
UMWT also recorded 1.42 million returning customers for aftersales services in 2024, showcasing Toyota’s commitment to prioritizing innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
