SHAH ALAM: UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) recorded over 7,300 units in June 2026, which brought second quarter 2026 sales to more than 20,800 units and year-to-date sales to above 36,200 units.
The company says the quarter reflected continued customer confidence across Toyota's core model range, supported by an expanding electrified line-up and stronger customer engagement.
UMWT continued to strengthen Toyota's Multi-Pathway Electrification Strategy by offering a broader range of mobility solutions tailored to different customer lifestyles and stages of readiness.
Building on the introduction of the battery electric vehicle (BEV) line-up comprising the Toyota bZ4X, Urban Cruiser BEV and Hilux BEV, alongside the introduction of the all-new Toyota Yaris Cross in both ICE (internal combustion engine) and HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) variants, Toyota continues to provide customers with practical lower-carbon mobility options.
