UMW Toyota Motor: Promotions for Hilux, Corolla Cross


SHAH ALAM: UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has rolled out value-packed promotions for the Hilux pick-up and Corolla Cross SUV.

The promotions feature:

Hilux:
- Monthly instalments from RM935
- Promotions worth up to RM8,000
- 3 Years Free Service

Corolla Cross:
- Monthly instalments from RM993
- Promotions worth up to RM4,000

There is also the Hybrid Hero Challenge, a nationwide social media contest held till July 31, 2025 in conjunction with Environment Month.

Open to all Malaysians, the challenge wants participants to snap and share their most creative photo with any Toyota Hybrid model, including the Corolla Cross, Camry or Zenix, for a chance to win prizes worth over RM17,000.

The 15 most creative entries will be announced as winners on Toyota Malaysia’s official Facebook page.

Meanwhile, UMWT closed June 2025 with strong sales, recording 7,773 units for the month and bringing the year-to-date total to 44,286 units.

UMWT also showcased its innovation at Energy Asia 2025, held from 16 to 18 June at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Central to its presentation was Toyota’s Multipathway approach to decarbonisation strategy encompassing energy efficient Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles (ICEs) including those compatible with biofuel, Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs), Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs), Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs).

The showcase also featured the Eco-Vehicle Assessment System, which applies Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) practices to reduce environmental impact across the entire vehicle lifecycle.

Visitors also had the opportunity to view the Toyota Mirai, a hydrogen-powered vehicle that emits only water vapour.
