The HR-V was developed with the concept of "Amp Up Your Life" with the vehicle's stylish and pemium design while offering a practical usability as a daily drive.
Honda Malaysia will be offering the HR-V, which comes with a large bonnet, slim LED headlights and fastback rear styling, in hybrid and petrol-powered variants.
The top RS variant has a length of 4,385mm, width of 1,790mm and height of 1,590mm, making it 39mm longer and 15mm lower compared with its RS predecessor.
Among the new RS features are front LED sequential turn signals, LED daytime running lights, LED taillight strip, front LED fog lights and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The RS variant will also be the first HR-V model to get the e:HEV hybrid powertrain, featuring the intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) system that delivers a powerful performance.
The e:HEV system combines the benefits of a dual cam 1.5-litre i-VTEC Atkinson cycle petrol engine and an electric traction motor to provide maximum power and fuel efficiency.
The electric powertrain delivers 131PS and 253Nm of torque for a thrilling driving experience in addition to three drive modes of ECON, Normal and Sport.
Other advanced features include Honda LaneWatch which is a camera-based advanced safety technology that reduces rear leftside blindspot by providing real-time visual, Hands-Free Power Tailgate with Walk Away Close function, Remote Engine Start and Walk Away Auto Lock.
Also available in the RS variant is the next generation Honda Sensing advanced driver assistance safety system that comes with:
