Upgraded Modenas Dominar D400 unveiled from RM13,900

SHAH ALAM: Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional (Modenas) has introduced its newly upgraded Dominar D400 sports tourer at a recommended selling price of RM13,997 (excluding insurance and road tax).

Some of the impressive upgrades of this second-generation model are the new Upside Down (USD) fork unit that replaces the conventional telescopic fork and a twin barrel exhaust system attached to a DOHC 373cc liquid-cooled engine with DTS-i technology that is capable of producing maximum power of 39hp and 35Nm torque.



The latest Dominar D400 also gets 320mm front and 230mm rear disc brakes equipped with dual channel ABS system.

Its rear is also fitted with an adjustable Nitrox monoshock absorber that allows a rider to tune it according to their riding needs.

In addition to that, the model also comes with an Assist and Slipper clutch system that will help during sudden changes of gears.

The fuel tank-pad also receives a new carbon fibre finishing as well as a Dominar logo stamped on its rear seat.



The fully digital LCD instrument console is complete with speed reading, rpm counter, fuel gauge, odometer and gear indicator.
Its automatic headlights are of the "LED mosaic" type, which is able to provide clear lighting especially at night which allow riders to be seen from a distance of 1.5km. 

The Dominar D400 is offered with two new colours of Savanna Green and Charcoal Black.
