KUALA LUMPUR: Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia is now accepting pre-bookings for the new Volkswagen Jetta.
The estimated price for the new Jetta ranges between RM110,000 and RM130,000. It will be available in four colours - Candy White, Platinum Grey, Reflex Silver and Deep Black.
It will be available in three trims – Trendline, Comfortline and Highline. Under the hood is a 1.4L TSI engine that is mated to a 7-speed direct shift gearbox, giving an output of 148hp and a torque of 250Nm between 1,500 and 3,500rpm.
Recognised as an Energy Efficient Vehicle, Volkswagen said the Jetta offers improved energy and fuel efficiency, thanks to its start/stop and regenerative braking functions.
Key safety features are six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Intelligent Crash Response System and hill-hold control.
Pre-bookings can be made either online or at the Jetta Pre-Booking Weekend on Sept 24-25 at Volkswagen dealers nationwide.
