KUCHING: Volvo Car Malaysia has opened a new 2S (service and spare parts) centre in Kuching, Sarawak.
This marks a significant step in strengthening its network across East Malaysia.
Operating under the Sebangga Group, the new facility takes over the familiar automotive space along Jalan Pending.
Currently, Volvo Car Kuching is entirely dedicated to after-sales service and parts.
However, Sebangga Mitsinbo is already laying the groundwork to upgrade the site into an official dealership.
In the meantime, customers looking to purchase a new Volvo can still place their orders through Sebangga Mitsinbo’s established Kota Kinabalu branch.
Volvo Car Malaysia and Thailand managing director Chris Wailes shared, “We are deeply committed to maintaining a robust, accessible network of service centres – and soon, complete dealerships across Malaysia."

Sebangga Group chairman Datuk Arif Ambrose Leonard Ng said, "We are hyper-focused on delivering top-tier service today, but we are already looking forward to transforming this space into a complete sales destination in the near future.”
The doors of the new Kuching 2S centre open during an exciting period for the brand, coming hot on the heels of Volvo Car Malaysia’s recent double launch, the evolved EX90 and the EX30 Cross Country.
