Volvo ES90 is coming: Registrations of interest open

KUALA LUMPUR: Volvo Car Malaysia has opened registrations of interest for the Volvo ES90, the brand’s new fully electric sedan that will join its locally assembled lineup in Malaysia.

Customers may register their interest through Volvo Car Malaysia’s official website at volvocars.com/my/cars/es90-electric.

Further details, including the official market introduction, available variants and pricing, will be announced at a later date.

Registrants will receive a 2% early-bird incentive on the new Volvo ES90, limited to the first 100 units booked till March 31, 2026.

Volvo Car Malaysia sales and marketing director Patricia Yaw shares, “This year, as we mark 60 years since Volvo established its presence in Malaysia, it is especially meaningful to commemorate this milestone with the local assembly of the Volvo ES90, our first fully electric sedan."

"Built on six decades of experience, customer insight, and ongoing innovation, the ES90 reflects how far we have grown and evolved as a brand”.

The ES90 introduces Volvo’s most technologically advanced platform, featuring an 800-volt architecture designed for efficiency, performance, and usability.

With support for charging speeds of up to 350kW, drivers can charge from 10% to 80% in 22 minutes or gain 300km of range in 10 minutes.

Delivering up to 333PS and 480Nm of torque, with up to 651km (WLTP range), the Volvo ES90 combines performance and practicality.

The Volvo ES90 is fully software-defined, built on Volvo’s SPA2 platform and supported by the Superset tech stack.

Also, the Volvo ES90 will feature a Nvidia Drive AGX Orin computing system – the first in any Volvo, making it the most powerful Volvo ever in terms of processing capacity.

This advanced system forms the foundation for next-generation safety intelligence, AI (artificial intelligence) integration, and data-driven optimisation.
