VW Passat Elegance upgraded for 2022

PETALING JAYA: VW in Malaysia announced this morning that the Passat Elegance has received some upgrades.

New to the facelifted model variant are 18-inch Bonneville alloy wheels and haptic-touch air-cond control.

In addition, wireless Android Auto joins the existing wireless Apple CarPlay to make for a more versatile infotainment setup.

To mark the upgrade, the Passat Elegance now comes with the new Volkswagen badge.

All these come with an RM800 uptick in price to RM183,680.

No change to engine stats. It continues to be powered by a 2.0 TSI turbocharged engine, paired with a 7-speed wet clutch direct shift gearbox (DSG), that produces 187hp and 320Nm of peak torque.
