VW teases new SUV that will slot itself under Tiguan

WOLFSBURG: Volkswagen (VW) has officially released a teaser of new compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) that will slot itself under the Tiguan.
The unveiling for this particular SUV has been earmarked for Oct 13.
This compact SUV seems to portray a sportier appeal emphasised by the LED bars that will flank - what we assume to be - the newly-designed VW-logo.
There's quite a bit of certainty that this compact SUV will be petrol-powered for the majority with perhaps a 1.8-litre turbocharged engine mated to a seven-speed DSG at the very least.
Although, in the US, there are 1.4-litre turbocharged VWs running about with a choice of either a six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG.
But the real preference still goes to the 2.0-turbocharged powertrain.
