WATCH: Jeep Wrangler 4xe joins 'MI – The Final Reckoning' ad campaign

DETROIT: Jeep has teamed with Paramount Pictures to launch a summer marketing campaign tied to the upcoming film Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, in cinemas from May 23.

A 30-second commercial titled “Top-Down Inspection,” starring the 2025 Jeep Wrangler, will air on television, digital and social media platforms.

The Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid features prominently in the new spot and in action sequences within the movie, driven by Tom Cruise’s character Ethan Hunt.

The campaign also showcases the Jeep Gladiator, billed as the world’s only open-air freedom truck.

According to S&P Global Mobility’s US State Registrations database through March 31, the Wrangler 4xe was America’s top-selling plug-in hybrid vehicle.

Jeep head of global marketing and communications Lucy McLellan said the collaboration reflected both brands’ spirit of adventure and performance.

In the commercial, a couple visits a dealership to inspect a 2025 Wrangler Rubicon X finished in Fathom Blue.

As the salesman explains the model’s features, the couple is suddenly lifted on wires above the vehicle—a nod to Cruise’s famous wire stunts from the original 1996 Mission: Impossible film. The ad intercuts this scene with high-octane footage from the new movie.

Directed by Vince Peone of ArtClass and produced in collaboration with creative agency Highdive, the 360-degree campaign will run across television, digital and social channels, including prominent sports broadcasts such as Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, NBA Draft, Women’s National Basketball Association and the PGA Tour.
