Now, users driving cars equipped with CarPlay will be able to download the Waze app and navigate to their favourite places seamlessly.
Simply connect the iPhone to a CarPlay supported system using a USB cable or wireless connection (if available), drivers can search for destinations, select a preferred route and report traffic issues, among others.
The integration ensures that Waze’s features are specially tailored to the operating system and user interface of CarPlay with the full 'Waze' experience that includes setting destination for Home, Work and Favourites.
Additionally, the app can help to organise the needs of a driver in one comprehensive viewing screen before heading out, such as the ability to check for alternate routes and adjust sound settings.
Reporting too, is made easier in trying to help others on the road with a visual reporting menu, while visual and audio alerts help the driver to stay informed and keep both hands on the wheel.
