KUALA LUMPUR: In celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year, Goodyear Malaysia is reminding road users to be safe on the roads by encouraging the replacement of worn-out tyres through a campaign.
Running from 1 January till 29 February 2020, those who buy a pair of tyres that are part of Goodyear’s Worry Free Assurance (WFA) programme can win up petrol gift cards worth up to RM1,688.
Alex Ng, managing director of Goodyear Malaysia said: “With good tyres, the chances of being affected by hazards becomes significantly lower, which is why Goodyear is once again encouraging drivers to opt for tyres covered under our Worry Free Assurance programme.”
Through WFA, Goodyear offers free replacement tyres within six months if there is damage done to tyres as a result of road hazards such as punctures, cuts, bulges and other impacts during the course of normal driving.
WFA also provides a 5-year limited warranty on tyres from any manufacturing defects.
To join the contest, buyers need to register their new tyres and complete a slogan.
Every entry ending with the numbers 8, 88 and 888 will stand a chance to win RM68, RM168 and RM1,688 worth of petrol gift cards respectively.
