XUZHOU, China: XCMG has launched its Hanjie new energy light truck series, which is billed as tackling efficiency bottlenecks in the logistics industry.
In a statement, XCMG or Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group said the Hanjie series was launched to achieve comprehensive upgrades in safety, reliability, extended battery endurance, energy efficiency, and ultra-lightweight design.
The Hanjie series include an innovative 4.4-metre cargo box and unmatched capacity delivering a massive 21.3 cubic metres of storage space, boosting overall loading efficiency by 20% compared to conventional models.
The light trucks are also equipped with the proprietary XES Energy Management System and an ultra-efficient (97.41%) flat-wire motor to deliver robust power output, coupled with a high-energy-density battery pack to achieve 10% longer range than peers.
The Hanjie series also support over-the-air (OTA) updates for core components with advanced software capabilities providing real-time vehicle monitoring, battery analytics, and driving behavior assessment.
Built with a double-layer 700MPa high-strength steel frame, the light trucks integrate lane departure warning, collision alert, and automatic emergency braking.
Meanwhile, XCMG has submitted applications for several patents, including "An Analytical Method for Evaluating the Performance of Pure Electric Mixer Truck Frame Structures".
The method is designed for the frame structure of pure electric mixer trucks to address the low accuracy of existing simulation models for electric mixer vehicles.
The invention would enable the establishment of high-precision analytical models by taking into consideration the road conditions, operational scenarios, and overall vehicle status, delivering reliable performance analysis results for mixer trucks.
Also, the "Power Battery Assembly with Integrated Base Tray and Commercial Vehicle" patent relates to vehicle battery swapping technology, specifically the power battery assembly with an integrated base tray and its application in commercial vehicles, which can resolve the height space requirements for battery compartments in chassis battery swap systems.
Founded in 1943, XCMG is a multinational corporation with the most comprehensive range of competitive products in the construction machinery industry.
The group's website says its business covers eight key areas: construction machinery, heavy trucks, mining machinery, sanitation machinery, machinery components, construction, finance, and the ICT industry.
