Xpeng connects with Charge+: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand

SINGAPORE: Xpeng Charging will connect to the Charge+ charging network in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

This includes the largest public charging network in Singapore with a local market share of over 30%, as well as charging stations spanning 5,000km of highways across five countries: Singapore,Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

Through this cooperation, Xpeng has become the first Chinese emerging EV (electric vehicle) brand to work with Charge+ in Southeast Asia, accessing over 3,800 charging piles, which will fully connect the north-south expressway network in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

This also enables Xpeng to further expand its global charging partnership network with over 2.4 million charging piles across Europe and Asia Pacific, powering its key models such as G6, G9, X9, all of which are equipped with the 800V fast-charging capabilities.

By end-2025, at the Xpeng and Charge+ co-branded stations, Xpeng owners can enjoy special charging discounts.

They will also be able to obtain real-time status of the charging stations through the in-car display and navigate to the stations with a single click.

The new G6, built on Xpeng’s 800V architecture, showcases ultra-fast charging capabilities.

Equipped with the 5C Supercharging AI battery across all variants, the G6 can charge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes with the peak charging power of 451kW, outperforming most EV models on the market which typically require 13 - 24 minutes to complete the same charge cycle.

It offers class-leading energy consumption of 15.6kW/100km.

At the core of the new G6 is Xpeng’s lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery – free from rare earth minerals – paired with an 800V high-voltage platform.

By end-2025, Xpeng owners will enjoy the "drive-in, charge&go" experience with one-stop payment functions in its mobile App.
