KUALA LUMPUR: Zeekr in Malaysia has rolled out its third model – the 7X all-electric sports utility vehicle (SUV) that comes with sleek styling and advanced level of smart driving and safety technologies.
Unveiled at Menara Kuala Lumpur, the 7X is offered in three variants – the rear-wheel drive (RWD) Standard at RM179,800, the RWD Long Range at RM190,800 and the all-wheel drive AWD Performance at RM226,800.
The 7X is designed in Gothenburg, Sweden under the visionary design of Stefan Sielaff and redefines the luxury SUV segment with its Hidden Energy design philosophy, 0.618 golden body ratio and segment-leading aerodynamic profile.
The frameless doors and floating roofline create a silhouette that is both futuristic and refined.
Available on the AWD Performance, the Zeekr original-designed Integrated Smart Light Curtain is the world’s largest light strip with its 93-inch display offering a three-dimensional, richer and clearer image.
The display's 1,831 high-power LED beads enable for more than ten customisable front designs and light languages.
Aside from a plethora of intelligent cabin technologies and advanced safety systems, the 7X also gets a 800V architecture system for ultra-fast charging reaching speeds of up to 450kW.
It also accepts AC charging up to 22kW.
The RWD Standard is powered by a 75kWh second-generation Golden Brick Battery and a rear-mounted motor delivering 310kW/415hp and 440Nm of torque for 480km range (WLTP), while the RWD Long Range variant extends capabilities with a 100kWh Qilin Battery, offering up to 615km of range (WLTP).
The AWD Performance model unleashes dual-motor all-wheel drive with 475kW/637hp and 710Nm of torque, and a range of 543km.
The RWD variants take six seconds to complete the 0-100kph sprint while the AWD Performance does it in 3.8 seconds.
While featuring front double wishbone and rear multi-link suspension across the range, the RWD variants also get leatherette seats and 19-inch wheels, while the AWD Performance is equipped with Nappa leather, 20-inch wheels and Zeekr’s Magic Carpet advanced air suspension and Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) system.
Also included is a huge panoramic sunroof that measures 1.84sq mm without any centre beam, which is protected with a UV-protective electric sunroof shade (largest in its segment), with an area of 1.35sq m.
The sunshade offers almost 100% UV and heat insulation, promising a worry-free travel during sunny days.
Meanwhile, the Qualcomm 8295 intelligent computing platform delivers seamless performance across its digital interfaces, the immersive cockpit with a 36-inch AR-HUD and a 16-inch 3.5K mini–LED central display, offering crystal-clear visuals and intuitive control.
Sound is elevated through the 2,160W powered 21-speaker Zeekr Sound Pro system, creating a concert-hall experience on the move.
Certified with a Euro NCAP 5-star safety rating, the 7X uses ultra-high strength steel, and a single-piece die-cast aluminium rear body and a one-piece hot-formed pipe beam to optimise structural integrity.
The safety systems include seven airbags, 360-degree surround camera, Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and Occupant Monitoring System (OMS).
The Level 2.5 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are the segment-leading Automatic Lane Change with Turn Signal input, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Centering Control, Lane Keeping Assist, AEB Forward Collision Warning and Mitigation, Door Open Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Hands Off Detection, and Automated Parking Assist.
Zeekr Southeast Asia managing director Alex Bao said the company had already secured over 1,000 bookings for the 7X since May this year and are committed to completing as many deliveries as possible.

In addition, buyers also get:

> 8 years / 160,000km high-voltage battery warranty, and
> 1 year of complimentary connected services to access the Zeekr App, onboard navigation, and over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
To make the transition to EV more seamless, the owner’s privilege package comes with a 22kW wallbox charger and free solar tinting.
The four exterior colours are Crystal White, Onyx Black, Tech Grey and Forest Green with Black interior.
The AWD Performance is available with dual-toned Brook Blue with a Silver Roof, and an interior of Purple and White at an added cost.
An option of 21-inch forged wheels is also available at added cost.
