SEPANG: The first-ever Zeekr Dynamic event at Sepang International Circuit (SIC) was built around high performance, driving excitement, and cutting-edge technology.
The full-day driving event recently brought together close to 500 Zeekr owners and their families from across the region, including Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.
Zeekr’s flagship driving experience event was centred around the Zeekr 7X and X.
The experience provided participants with the opportunity to explore the vehicles in a controlled track environment through structured driving sessions designed to showcase performance, safety systems, and driving dynamics beyond everyday driving conditions.
Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia (Zeekr Malaysia) general manager Eddy Lu said, "As one of Zeekr’s most important markets in Southeast Asia, it is fitting that Malaysia hosts the very first chapter of Zeekr Dynamic for our growing Zeekr family in the region."
"This event was created exclusively to give our customers the opportunity to experience our vehicles in a real track setting, where they can fully appreciate the performance, precision and control that define the Zeekr driving experience."
At the core of the event was a series of guided track exercises, conducted under professional supervision to allow participants to safely explore the capabilities of the vehicles.
Key driving experiences included:
- Obstacle avoidance – Demonstrated the effectiveness of electronic stability systems (ESP/ESC) in maintaining vehicle control during sudden manoeuvres.
- Slalom course – Highlighted steering precision, agility, and chassis balance through dynamic cone navigation.
- Emergency braking – Showcased braking performance and stability under high intensity deceleration, including ABS response.
- Lane change manoeuvre – Demonstrated controlled directional shifts supported by Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Departure Warning.
- Track convoy – Providing a high-speed yet controlled environment to build confidence in acceleration and braking transitions.
Beyond the track, the event was designed as a family-friendly lifestyle experience, ensuring engagement for both drivers and their accompanying guests.
Highlights included:
- Zeekr Track Challenge Passport, where participants completed activities to collect stamps and redeem rewards.
- Interactive challenge zones, including reaction-based and precision-driving themed games.
- Racing simulator experience, allowing guests to virtually drive round the Sepang Circuit.
- Dedicated family and kids’ zones, alongside food truck and hospitality areas creating a relaxed, festival-like atmosphere.
