KUALA LUMPUR: The Zeekr brand has officially arrived to step up the competition in the Malaysian automotive landscape.
Zeekr punched in with the double launch today of the Zeekr 009 MPV and X SUV.
As the flagship model, the 009 was the star of the show as it took centrestage with the X relegated to the backseat at the launch ceremony here.
The 009 luxury MPV is offered as a 7-seater and 6-seater priced at RM349,800 and RM359,800 respectively.
The compact X SUV comes in two variants of Premium at RM155,800 and Flagship AWD at RM172,800.
The all-electric models were already available for booking from October ahead of their launch.
First deliveries of the all-electric models are scheduled for mid-December 2024.
The Zeekr brand is distributed by Sentinel Automotive Sdn Bhd.
Both models are supported by a 5-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty and an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty. Additionally, the first 500 buyers will receive an exclusive package including a home charger, portable charger, solar film, and a sunshade cover for the X.
Sentinel Automotive has opened its flagship showroom in Petaling Jaya, with another in Sunway City. Additional showrooms in Selangor, Penang, and Johor are planned by mid-2025, followed by expansions into Kuala Lumpur, Pahang, Melaka, and Sarawak.
