SEPANG: Porsche continued to build up the hype on the new Cayenne by organising a regional track event at the Sepang International Circuit today.
The new Cayenne is expected to launch in Malaysia in the second half of the year. Tentative pricing for the new Cayenne and Cayenne S are RM790,000 and RM940,000 respectively. There's no confirmation yet whether Malaysia will get the flagship Cayenne Turbo.
The new Cayenne was first previewed in Kuala Lumpur in late January.
The third generation of the model combines even more of the typical Porsche performance with excellent everyday practicality. As the core components of the Cayenne are new developments, the track activities centred around five innovative features in the car that members of the media had a chance to learn about and experience.
At the event, participants were treated to the Cayenne S with 440hp and the Cayenne Turbo with
550hp. Additionally, the event provided the platform to learn through theory sessions and the chance to experience the new features, many of which are worId-firsts in the SUV segment, under the guidance of Porsche certified instructors.
