The 3.0-litre TFSI V6 turbocharged petrol engine accelerates the business sedan from 0 to 100kph in 5.1 seconds with 340hp and 500Nm of torque.
The engine is mated to a seven-speed automatic S tronic transmission and is equipped as standard with the quattro all-wheel drive with ultra technology, which activates rear-wheel drive instantly whenever needed.
The 3.0-litre TFSI engine also uses mild-hybrid technology, and features a belt alternator starter (BAS) that works together with a lithium-ion battery, which can reduce petrol usage by up to 0.7 litres per 100km.
The interior of the new Audi A6 is even larger than its predecessor, and has class-leading rear legroom. Boot capacity remains unchanged at 530 litres.
Meanwhile, the car's MMI touch response system is even more intuitive, and central vehicle functions can be placed in the MMI screen using drag-and-drop – similar with smartphone apps.
Standard features include HD Matrix LED headlights, a panoramic glass sunroof, large 20-inch wheels, controlled damping, and dynamic all-wheel steering which improves agility and manoeuvrability.
