Bermaz Auto Alliance ceases operations and quits Peugeot, DS and Citroen businesses
By CARSIFU | 29 February 2024
KUALA LUMPUR: Bermaz Auto Alliance (BAA) has ceased operations today after three years since its establishment to manage the distribution, sales and aftersales service of Peugeot vehicles in Malaysia and as the authorised repairer for Citroen and DS brands.
This comes following the decision and announcement on Nov 22 last year by Stellantis N.V to manage its brands in Malaysian market through its own national sales company.
In a statement, BAA will no longer continue serving the Peugeot customers as intended.

"It is with heartfelt gratitude BAA expresses its appreciation towards all customers for the support and confidence in the sales and aftersales service rendered by BAA throughout these years.
"BAA has also agreed to transfer the contractual Free Service Maintenance (FSM) programme to Stellantis N.V in totality and as such, all future FSM will be carried out through Stellantis N.V appointed network," it said.
