The electric MINI is covered by a four-year unlimited mileage warranty as well as an eight-year or 100,000km (whichever comes first) high voltage battery warranty with free scheduled service.

Bookings for the electric MINI can be made on the company's online site with a fee of RM1,000.

As to colour choices, the electric MINI can be ordered in an exclusive White Silver body colour that's accented by Energetic Yellow, while two other colours are British Racing Green and Chili Red in combination with black roof.
The MINI's front wheels are spun by an electric motor producing 184hp at 7,000rpm and 270Nm of torque from 100 to 1,000rpm - and all that is relayed to a single-speed transmission and an integrated differential.
The electric motor derives its power from a 28.9kWh 12-module T-shaped lithium-ion battery which can be recharged up to 80% in two hours and 30 minutes via a dedicated wall-charger. Plugging into a normal household wall-plug overnight will have this MINI fully charged up.
On a full charge, the MINI Electric's power consumption has been rated at 14.8 to 16.8kWh per 100km of travel which means up to 270km is possible as well as 7.3 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100kph and onwards to a top speed of 150kph.
In standard form, the MINI Electric comes fitted with 17-inch lightweight alloys in a dedicated MINI Electric Power Spoke design that's fitted with 205/45 series run-flat tyres.
The mirror caps and front splitter can be specified in Vigorous Grey or Energetic Yellow (as seen above).
Other standard fitments include LEDs for the automatic adaptive headlights with matrix function and high-beam assist, daytime running lights, fogs lights and the Union Jack design taillights.
