BANGKOK: Goodyear has launched its latest EfficientGrip performance SUV tyre targeted at the luxury SUV highway segment in Buriram, Thailand.

The new tyre has been designed with consumer-driven needs and the tyre is said to deliver a quieter driving experience with maximized comfort and exceptional wet braking performance.

As such, the tyre comes with QuietTred Technology which the tread design helps to dampen noise with an increased number of pitches and optimized sequence and coupled with a closed shoulder groove design.

There's also FlexContact Technology, which is a shock absorbing cushion layer
compound with optimized formulation to help increase comfort levels.

Furthermore, these technologies are paired with a new polymer tread compound for better grip during wet conditions.

“We understand that today’s urban luxury SUV drivers are looking for a comfortable, quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and the EfficientGrip Performance SUV is our answer to that," said Goodyear APAC president Chris Delaney.

For the Malaysian market, the new tyre will be offered in 17 to 20-inch wheels, with up to 20 sizes available and can be found at Goodyear Autocare or Servitekar outlets, as well as authorized Goodyear dealers nationwide from October onwards.
