BOLOGNA (Italy): For 2015, Ducati wanted to endow its Diavel (Devil) motorcycle with a new level of prestige and desirability by producing 500 limited edition Diavels that’s been trimmed predominantly in titanium and carbon fibre.

This sport cruiser comes powered by the Italian motorcycle maker’s 1,198cc Testastretta 11-degree DS engine with 160bhp at 9,500rpm and 130Nm of torque at 8,000rpm and weighing in at 205kg (dry).

Titanium is used for the central and lateral tank covers and the headlight covers, including the carbon passenger seat with the inserts in titanium and has been banded and chemically satin-etched to provide unique nuances of colour.

Carbon fibre parts are used for the specially designed air intakes, radiator covers, windscreen, front and rear mudguards, front sprocket cover and tank filler surround.

The Titanium Edition rides on exclusively designed aluminium machine-finished forged black wheels, with the rear using a specially engineered 240mm section tyre.

Each of the limited edition Diavel Titanium will have its own individually numbered tank-mounted plaque (XXX/500).
