The Notte Edition celebrates Maserati's racing heritage and is designed to perform on both the track and public roads.
The MC20, which marks Maserati's return to its supercar roots, now gets a racing-inspired makeover with the Notte Edition. Only 50 units of the exclusive model will be produced globally.
The design of the MC20 Notte was developed in collaboration with Andrea Bertolini, a former GT1 world champion and Maserati reference driver.
The bodywork of the car features a matte black shade that turns into a glowing "nero essenza" hue in the dark.
Bertolini added his touch by turning the details, such as the Trident logo and the Maserati signature, from silver to matte white gold. The car also features 20-inch matte black birdcage wheels with accents in matte white gold and black brake calipers.
Inside, the MC20 Notte boasts 6-way power sport seats in black/grey Alcantara with yellow stitching.
The headrests feature the Trident logo, and the sport steering wheel is adorned with carbon fibre inserts. The car also comes with an exclusive metal plate celebrating the MC20 Notte Edition and a "UNA DI 50" (one of 50) signature between the headrests.
Maserati design head Klaus Busse described the MC20 Notte as a custom-built rolling sculpture that combines performance, elegance, and a touch of mystery. The limited edition model caters to supercar collectors and track enthusiasts.
To celebrate the launch of the MC20 Notte edition, Maserati enlisted global brand ambassador David Beckham and Andrea Bertolini for a short film. The film showcases Beckham's MC20 transforming into a racing creature and tearing through the city and on the racetrack.
The MC20 Notte was initially previewed exclusively for Maserati Tridente members and is now available for purchase worldwide.
Maserati has not announced the MC20 Notte's price but it's certainly going to exceed the US$217,000 (RM1mil) asking price for the regular MC20.
Future owners of the car will be invited to experience a Maserati on-track driving experience to fully appreciate the exclusive model.
