KUALA LUMPUR: My E.G. Services Bhd had its concession agreement to provide services to the Road Transport Department (JPJ) extended by three years from May this year until May 2023.
In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia, it said it had received the letter from the Transport Ministry today to extend the e-government services.
The agreement relates to the electronic delivery of vehicle registration, driver and vehicle licensing and payment of summon services.
“The board of directors is of the view that the extension is in the best interest of the company and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the company for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2020 onwards, ” it said.
MY EG said an agreement to formalise the extension would be signed and announced by the company in due course.
