PARIS: By next week, BMW's latest seventh-generation G20 3 Series sport sedan will have finally been unveiled at Mondial de l’Automobile 2018 in Paris and until then, the world holds its breath.

According to the interweb, the 'new 3' will be bigger, lighter, more comfortable with greater agility than the outgoing F30, thanks to the combination of a new platform, suspension and materials used for the chassis.

Power-wise, the 2.0-litre mill is expected to see some slight gains in terms of power and fuel economy, while the cabin is rumoured emulate that of the new Z4.

The unveiling of the G20 will take place on Oct 2 and along side it, the new Z4, 8 Series Coupe and the world premieres of the fourth-generation X5 and new M5 Competition will subsequently be unveiled.

To catch the world premiere of the new 3 Series BMW Group has setup a live stream for our benefit at http://www.live.bmwgroup.com/en/live-streaming/

> CarSifu will be in Portugal to test-drive the new BMW 3 Series, come November.
