PETALING JAYA: A change is coming to your local Shell Select store. Shell Malaysia launched its brand new retail concept, the ‘food oasis’ at the Shell station in Taman Connaught, Cheras which will also be introduced at 30 other Shell Select stores this year.

Shell Malaysia and Loob Holding have joined hands to introduce Chatime, llaollao and Gindaco outlets for patrons to enjoy savoury Gindaco takoyakis, llaollao frozen yogurt and Chatime bubble tea.



“We are delighted to announce our partnership with Loob Holding as we share the same values of upholding cutomer satisfaction and enhancing customer experience. We want our stations to be a haven for the community to refuel, refresh and rejuvenate, leaving them happier than when they arrived,” said Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd head of retail marketing, Ben Mahmud.

Also present was Loob Holding managing director Bryan Loo.

Shell Malaysia and Loob Holding have already inked a memorandum of understanding to introduce Chatime outlets at Shell Select stores, 11 of which are already operational.

Each Shell Select store featuring the food oasis will be individually customised with different food offerings to meet the needs of local consumers, bringing together local and international food and beverage retailers which will compliment Shell’s own deli2go offerings.

Shell will be upgrading over a 100 stores to the new Shell Select format featuring facilities such as seating lounges, complimentary Wi-Fi and charge stations including upgraded restrooms and prayer rooms.
