KUALA LUMPUR: Equipped with 15,000 litres of V-Power fuel and 6,000 litres of Helix Ultra with PurePlus Technology, Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd is set to reward 500 vehicle owners (worth RM600 each) with its two-day “#LoveMyRide” Festival.
Admission is free for the festival being held at the Martrade Exhibition and Convention Centre (MECC) in Kuala Lumpur from June 13 to 14 (10.00am till 7.00pm) and will involve 100 student mechanics from Despark College and Shell Helix branded workshops.
Individuals will be selected randomly via an online application at www.lovemyride.com.my after completing a pre-oil change survey and registering their car and personal details.
The exclusive treatment provides each motorist with Shell Helix Ultra with PurePlus Technology 5W-40 fully synthetic engine oil and up to 31 litres of Shell V-Power fuel.
Also, Shell Malaysia will attempt to set a record for ‘the most number of cars in a lubricant changing event in 12 hours’ with the Malaysia Book of Records.
During the festival, there will be the latest BMW and Mazda cars available for a test drive, an F1 race car simulator challenge, Shell PurePlus Mocktail Mixology sessions, over 50 of KL’s top food trucks and gastronomic cafes and a flea market.
In addition, the main stage will feature live performances by Reza Salleh, IamNEETA and Diandra Arjunaidi.
“We want those who have never tried Shell Helix Ultra with PurePlus Technology to really experience what a motor oil made from natural gas could do for a car engine,” said Shell Malaysia Trading managing director Azman Ismail.
